These slutty brownies are the ultimate layered dessert—featuring a chewy chocolate chip cookie base, a layer of Double Stuf Oreos, and rich, fudgy brownie batter on top. They're ridiculously easy, totally indulgent, and perfect for parties or whenever you're craving something over the top.

Ingredients

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough:
  • ¾ cup salted butter softened
  • ¾ cup light brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg room temperature
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Oreo Layer:
  • 25 Double Stuff Oreos
Brownie Layer:
  • 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate baking bar chopped
  • 3/4 cup salted butter
  • 1/2 tsp espresso powder optional
  • 2 cups granulated white sugar
  • 4 large eggs at room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup unsweetneed cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips plus extra for topping

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper (for easy removal).

Chocoate Chip Cookie Dough:

  • In a bowl or stand mixer, cream the softened butter with both sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well until combined.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt separately. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Set dough aside (no chilling needed for this application).

Brownies:

  • Melt butter and semi-sweet chocolate bar together; stir in espresso powder. Let cool slightly.
  • Beat eggs and sugar until thick and pale (5-7 mins). Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually mix in cooled chocolate-butter mixture until smooth.
  • Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt into batter. Fold gently until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Assembly Instructions (Slutty Brownies):

  • Line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper, allowing some overhang for easy removal.
  • Evenly press the prepared chocolate chip cookie dough into the pan to form the base layer.
  • Place whole Double Stuff Oreos neatly in a single layer directly on top of the cookie dough. I like to break a few in half to fill in the edges, making sure every bite has Oreo in it.
  • Pour brownie batter evenly over the Oreo layer, gently smoothing without disturbing Oreos. Top with addiional chocolate chips if desiered.
  • Bake in preheated oven (350°F / 175°C) for approximately 35–45 minutes. Check at 35 minutes—a toothpick inserted should have moist crumbs but no raw batter.
  • Allow brownies to cool completely (at least 1 hour at room temp or chill briefly in fridge) before slicing for clean, defined layers. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Use Double Stuf Oreos for extra gooeyness. Regular Oreos work too, but the extra filling makes the middle layer even more indulgent.
  • Make ahead: You can assemble the entire pan up to 24 hours in advance and store it covered in the fridge. Let it sit at room temp for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or freeze individually wrapped bars for up to 2 months.
  • Use whatever chocolate you love most. Semi-sweet chocolate is classic and gives great balance, but dark chocolate adds richness and intensity. Prefer something sweeter? Go for milk chocolate. It’s all about what you love—any of them will work beautifully in these brownies.
